The other day I noticed Frodo, the Yorkie in my gallery, has been tripping on the stairs and almost running into things. I thought maybe he was just excited I was home, since hes usually crazy and running in circles and missing his steps, but my sister told me he has been clumsy lately. Turns out he has a cataract in his left eye and he couldn't see anything when I moved my finger in front of his eye. He seemed really freaked out
His vision in that eye seems to vary since I test to see if he notices me on his left side, but it absolutely broke my heart that he didn't see my finger at all for a day. It really scared me and I'm still really worried about it. I'm just glad he seems to have some
vision in that eye. I don't know if cataracts change between good and bad regularly or not, so if anyone has any knowledge of cataracts, please let me know. I want to do what I can for the best dog I've ever had.
